The property’s sewer drain is connected to the pump unit and all wastewater from the property is pumped to a discharge point. This system is common when the property is in an area where the landscape is either very hilly or very flat, in areas that regularly flood or have high water tables.

A gravity sewer system relies on the sewer drain to be gradually sloping to allow the sewage to flow naturally downhill, away from your property and into the collection network.
